Such an easy and relatively inexpensive way to make a beautiful backdrop for your buffet whether you are throwing a baby shower, having a birthday party or celebrating a wedding: tissue paper pompoms.
I find that using an uneven number of pompoms works best. You can also make them in different sizes or vary the edges (round edges, pointed edges or even edges that have been cut with pinking shears).
Tissue paper is available in a wide variety of colours so you can easily colour coordinate the pompoms with the rest of your decorations.

The only thing you have to be careful about is not to tear the tissue paper when separating the different layers of tissue. Pulling gently is key here!
