Very true and even more so in February. Valentine's Day is approaching and the shops are filled with heart shaped items & cuddly bears telling everyone how much they love you. Personally I don't buy big gifts for Valentine's Day. I don't even like going out to dinner. When it comes to gifts I prefer something small, something from the heart. A little love note, a surprise chocolate on my pillow. Things like that...
Jessika at Oh My! Handmade Goodness declared February's theme: Love it Up! She asked what made our hearts go pitter pat. It made me think of a song. You probably know it: "My favorite things", from the Sound of Music? So I made my own version of the song including things that are close to my own heart.
