For us it meant an early Sunday morning egg hunt for the kids, a piece of this lovely Easter cake and for my son and myself it also meant going to the cinema to watch The Hunger Games (after reading the books I am officially addicted).
Back to the cake though: I'm very lucky to be married to someone who loves to bake. The cake was very light, filled with whipped cream and pineapple and topped off with chocolate shavings (after all, it's an Easter cake, right) and of course I couldn't resist adding a little colourful bunting to the cake.
Too bad it's gone now...
